We had the BEST time at the SELENA GOMEX concert! We got handed back stage passes during the concert! Every 13 year old DREAM COME TRUE! We had a great time...singing and dancing with all the teeney boppers....
It was actually a really good show! She is beautiful...and TINY! I felt like a Water Buffalo next to her! :)

It has been a long time since we have posted...sorry! I've had so many fun comments and email on the black painting and distressing! It was awesome! I have been completely CONSUMED by the Weddings...
I am officially 100% addicted to Vanilla Coke
I 95% of the time go to bed at 1:00 or later.. and get up at 6:30
I have shipped to Singapore...Germany, Australia, Columbia...France, Italy, ETC.... It has been so amazing ... and so busy! There has been almost 650 items made and shipped in the last 3 months all over the world. I am extremely thankful, grateful! I don't think I got to "lay" out ONCE this summer! HA
I did spend 90% of the time... wishing I could just rolled around all day with sweet Aussie and play tackle football with him!

We went to Disneyland with the kids a few weeks after going for our Anniversary.... the kids didn't want to leave the hotel...wanted to swim all day at the pools!
Morgan broke her foot...dismounting off the beam...competition season...gone... She won 2nd place at STATE last year...we were hoping for 1st this year...oh well!
Aussie is doing so much better...he is walking, and skips all over the place(gets him there faster)
His hand is getting better...physical therapy is every single day! I hope he can get stronger each day.

We are getting back into the GROOOVE of things...hope to put our house up for sale and start building ... Once and for all...and No more moving!

After 15 years together... I have almost been with Ry half of my life! I have grown up with him and grown better because of him. Everyone who is married knows how hard it is, but never not worth having him next to me. Because I am constantly learning to be a better wife and mother, I am so thankful for his patience. We went to San Diego for 4 days...drove up the coast to L.A.....stopped at almost every beach...cruised by the "Ivy" to spot celebs...drove around speachless at the mansions in Beverly Hills....shopped...shopped some more.... it was just what I needed. Amazing food, even better desserts, and SUN...blessed SUN!!!
We got pooped on by a massive flock of sea-gulls while laying out at the beach. I had dried poop on my cheek(must have missed a spot) when we got in the car! HA - one of the many laughs we had. We lived here when I was pregnant with Morgan....13 years ago... it was so cool to go back and see "what once was"
I have not had too much time to mess with some of the pictures of the beautiful San Diego Temple. We went early Friday and did a session to remember where we were 15 years ago....

Tiny Ryan and JenaeOh Miguels....sweet Miguels in "Old Town" Their cheesey queso sauce was infused with cocaine...( I think) It was AMAZING! I will be experimenting this week to make my own heaven sauce....but you have to go to Miguels!

We had the most amazing time together...so thankful for family to help watch all 5 of our youngin's .....Anyone thinking about going away for a few days....call me because I will SELL you on this perfect spot!

Yes, Yes, Ryan went to Japan... so naturally I started building shelves...the ones he was suppose to build...wait, did he know that? Well anyway I have been wanting somewhere to HANG clothes that can't dry... so easy ...just got the brackets at lowes...had some left over shelving wood from doing the basement closets...measured...and cut... still need one more coat of paint...but BASICALLY done!

I have this little Mud Room Area that has tall ceilings.... and it always bugged me ...needed something on the top...so my second shelf was simply decoration...but I love it!

Trying to find somethings to fill up the little landing upstairs by a few of the kids rooms... it was sad and lonely and wanted to be gussied up....so I made some run arounds my house of stuff to move around... and got this sweet little end table at ROD WORKS...scored it for only 65.00 using my trusty coupons! It was marked 136.00

And, you know anywhere I can add my favorite mustard yellow.... I WILL!!

I found this old VELVET chair from GERMANY.... 8.00 LADIES.... SQueeeeealkdlkkklllllsss

It has this amazin tall skinny back... I just love how different it is! This went perfect in my little landing up stairs.

My old Jewelry holder was falling apart...weighed down by too much bling...(wonder why) So this frame...66% off was 12.00... it is hard to see how fun and chunky it is...but I painted it a glass green...it is about a 20x24 size! $11.00- Brand New Hobby Lobby Ladies!

Ok.... I know I always say this is my favorite find...but it IS!! This Clock ( my major obsession/collections) Is full of picture frames! WHAT? I literally got stopped by 2 salivating women wanting is ...." WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT..." Run...dont walk to Hobby Lobby cause they are probably ALL GONE now!

I love the card catalog look... and the vintage smashed up look...the creamy, yummy, heavenly score I just found at T.J. Maxx.... It wasn't on sale or cheap....but worth all my hard earned dollars!!

Holy Cow... can't believe how much time has FLOWN by.... long time no talk!!

I am finishing up my old bed... tall 4 poster bed refinished in white... and a desk for Morgan that will make you swear, cry and pee... yes, all at once! I promise...the spindle action and yummy curves are going to be amazing painted and done.... if I can get it DONE!! :)

Ok... HERE SHE IS... In all her glory. I was done, done, done, with the distressed alder wood.... I was ready for a change... and here it is!!

Ok... Ok.... I literally screamed and squeallllled when I saw these lamps! Holy Cow how long I have looked and looked for lamps that are fun and UNIQUE!!! LOVE LOVE .... L.O.V.E. THEM!!! I am deciding which color of tastle to dangle....

I love the Velvet Damask Print.... I wanted something totally unmatching and random.... Love the stripes... I will cut it all up and add some fringe!

This week I will tackle Curtains with tastles and charms :) I'll post up pics as soon as I'm done!

I was just tired of the same old... same old..... I finally found a bed that made me pee my pants.... but the dressers...eh.... needed something injected into them! I love love love the distressed glazed look.... cost was 8 $$ to refinish! AHHHH.... Close up of Dresser

These pictures make the dresser and bed look baby size! The Bed is over 7 feet tall....It towers over Ryan and I both! The dresser is 6 feet long and almost 4.5 feet tall! Funny how photos change!

I have been partying it up like a little teenager and eating basically everything ANYONE puts in front of me.... really? I am carrying around a few extra pounds and decided to do the 30 DAY SHRED.... let me just tell you it is NOT a pretty sight!

The other morning Mckay said " Mom, no offense, but when you jump up and down your butt jiggles really bad"
um.......ok... that was all the motivation I needed.....

so I am sweating like a piglet and doing Gillians work out... and I hate her... want to hurt her... physically! I have always believed that a work out consists of doing lunges while eating a cinnamon roll. Or sitting down to a nice bowl of icecream after doing situps.....Now I see why it is so hard to just walk up a flight of stairs.... as I yell at the people on the biggest looser to GET UP... MOVE IT.... now I am the one crying on the floor begging to eat a twinkie!
I think maybe I'll just resort to being PLUMP!!

It was great to do my first "photoshoot" with the company HERITAGE MAKERS over the Holidays. I was asked to take pitures for their new catalog... and also be in some of the video. Double Duty but it was a great time. I got a call to come back in studio and do more video..... this time with my cute kidos! We are super excited to do it! Ok... So I am seriously wondering how people live healthy when they are busy?
I don't think it is possible... or at least for me. I have honestly eaten a nasty burger like 3 times a week and downing large... yes large fries like they are ice cubes baby....

On an honestly normal day starting at 3:25 with the 5 kids... I pull in HONK
Pick up Morgan.. . gymnastics... hurry back pick up McKay for scouts... 4:00 ...pull in honk... Avery has soccer 5:00... drop her off... pick up Logan for his football game 5:30... honk... honk... where is Logan... search the neighborhood while swearing and eating a Milky Way candy bar... find Logan... drop him off... run to Avery's game for 15 minutes... pick up McKay 5:00... order him to eat and get ready for Basketball at 7:30 Go pick up Morgan 6:30 and Logan... 6:30and yes, as always, I am late... sorry ... Mother of the YEAR! Drop off the Kids... WHAT THE... DINNER??? um..... Wait, Did I feel Aussie? ..... Sorry, Bye I have to go to Young Women's...let me know if you don't find anything for dinner :)
blah blah... I think I have spent the last 4 months living off Candy Bars and Coke.... My spare tire is getting pretty reliable.... If I'm ever stranded... I could do some good living off of that!
By the time I get home... I don't even remember my name... or my kids names? I even forgot Logan at Piano the other day....
I think the answer is simplify... but I don't know how to cut anything out!!! I am constantly rushing to drop off, pick up, make jewelry, clean house, be a wife, be a mom, run a business,do my callings, and multi-tasking my life away... when all I want to do is hold little Aussie....
I am longing for the days I sat by the pool and went to aerobics and volleyball all week.... not a care in the world but what color I was going to paint a room....
Is this how everyone lives..?? I would love to know so I can feel better about our crazy schedules....

We had a good time... Ry worked while I shopped and layed out at the pool! I brought a HUGE suit case full of fabric and beads to work! I was going crazy for 4 days with nothing to do.....
It was great to get away and just be US!!

I have decided that January is not my new year!!
Ever since I can remember, the FALL is the most amazing time of year! It is the time we clean out all the drawers... get ready for school...Our kids get back on a schedule, and life for me begins! I love love.... did I mention the SERIOUS Love I have for Fall time. Halloween is just around the corner.... then Thanksgiving... Christmas.... etc...
I love the fall colors... the fall decorations... the fall clothes.. Ooo love the layering... all the corn fields are open for Pumpkin Picking.... ohhhh I am getting excited just typing!
Who needs January to set New Years Resolutions? It is ugly, dark, cold... and I get violent when I am cold!
Everything about these next few months just gets my heart a pumpin'. I'm already getting the bug to clean out everyones rooms, reorganize clothes.... paint a few rooms....
Am I the only crazy one? Or is there a bug in the air??

Hum.... I was going through my camera admiring all my lovely pictures... when I came upon this one.... couldn't tell who was in it or what it was of.... so i started to zoom in..... closer and closer then.... I knew who the sick-o- was who took it.... I think Mr. Scott Higginson stole my camera while I was laying out and took this beautiful picture admiring the naked ladies on the beach!! Funny boy Scootty! That is just sick and WRONG!!! I'll just let you click on the pic if you want to be mentally disturbed by a 68 year old topless grandma on the french beaches!

After a week of DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA..... we headed off to Enjoy some time in Europe!
We spent most of our time on the cruise ship going from Barcelona to Corsica, to Rome, to France, to Malaga...... We had a great time and made so many new friends! I took over 300 pictures.... and I tried to narrow them all down. I have so many that I wanted to edit... so I'll have to make another posting of those!
I had to start out my posting with the funniest guy we found! SPIDER MAN!

We seriously couldn't STOP laughing at this guy.... he was the highlight of Madrid! We came to this square to eat and got a lot more than we bargained for. Here was Mr. Spider Man.... just posing... waiting for someone to take pictures with. I have never seen a man just stand there and hold such wrong positions! Honestly .... I just don't know what else to say!

Can anyone find something here in Spider Man that we may or may not think is inappropriate? Um...... there is just nothing right about a grown man.... in day light... wearing something so tight..... posing..... lurching....and dancing.....

This was the most amazing meal in MADRID! This meat was brought out and we just cooked it on the hot stone..... covered in sea salt.... oh heavens it was divine!!

More pizza on the Corsica Island. We stopped for just a few minutes to get some sun.... isn't my honey a hunk!!?? I loved, loved, loved all the pizza in France.

This place was absolutely AMAZING.... I was just in awe. These were the "Royal Swiss Army Guards" who were suppose to be protecting to Pope??? hum.....I don't know if they are manly enough to be guards?? ha ha

This is the little place we stopped to eat lunch in Rome....
Inside the pizza place in Italy ..... we used the "toilet" ..... seriously took me 5 minutes of panic....wondering where the CRAP the "flusher" is.... on the ceiling.... it was mounted to the top of the wall..... I had to pull a lever to flush..... now that is an experience!

We had a great lunch with Sam and Whitney... um... 13 minutes to eat, shop and use the "toilet"

Beautiful fountains on EVERY corner.... such amazing buildings and artwork. The strangest thing is to see modern civilization just built right around and on top of these amazing buildings and fountains... castles.... and walls..... as we were driving we passed several spots where they were digging and excavating new areas that were just found. Right in the middle of traffic and the streets....so weird!

I couldn't believe how HUGE it was. It was amazing to see all these things I've read about and seen pictures... they are REAL.... I couldn't imagine watching the soldiers bring in lions to eat people for entertainment.... and to watch people fight to the death..... it was so surreal.

As Usual, I found the treats and yummy places to shop as soon as we arrived in CANNES, FRANCE....french bakery.... french pastry.... bring it on baby....

WE are leaving for Italy, France Tomorrow... I am going to have a nervous BREAK DOWN over leaving this little man..... I think I'll be crying the whole way to the airport!

My sweet sister in law EM is about to have her first baby.... I heard a rumor she wanted a diaper bag like the one I made for myself.....So I brewed up this one... a little smaller than mine. I loved it! I almost couldn't give it to her. The tassle was my favorite- FAVORITE part....All the blood sweat and tears... I felt like I was giving up one of my kids... I wiped my tears and had to walk away after handing it to her. hum... I am thinking I might need to make another one for me... he he

Several people were asking me to make them one... and I get that all the time. I always say no way... you can't Make Me Sew one for any amount of money.....but I am wondering If I should open up that can of worms??? I just don't know.......

Even if Avery feeds him... and he AIM is a little bit off... it doesn't matter... he'll reach over the chair... down the hall and around the corner to GET THE FOOD!!!

Here is a great pic... the spoon is about 10" away... but he is still trying to get it! HA HA Austin! You are the cutest love EVER!!

He opens his mouth as he sees me with his bowl ..... he waits like a baby bird in a nest and perches his lips open for his gourmet baby food that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole! HE LOVES IT!!

I am mixing all these to have a center pillow.... so here is the first one I have completed....
Who knew I could cook dinner and sew ruffled in between nursing and cleaning up crusty food on the floor.... multi-tasking at its best!

The entire bedspread is going to be chocolate brown velvet... tuffed in the center and rushing on the outsides... when I figure out how to do it.... I 'll get 'er done!

This is by far the biggest sewing project I have undertaken.... and the most expensive... so I am praying that I can get it to at least look DECENT!!

This stinkin pillow alone took me almost 3 hours to do.... would have helped to know how to exactly do it??!! I am excited that it even turned out round!! ha ha

Sewing A Little Somn' Somn'

This big giant center flower is like 8" across! It is so fun! Love the new fun messy flowers!

can you tell I am obsessed with all these vintage flowers right now!

I've been trying FOREVER to figure out what to do with my new black and white bedspread... it was ok... but nothing special at all! So- I started cutting like edward scissor hands and away I went with folding, and pinching, and pinning... some of the pillows I brewed up to mix in a little color with the black and white. I loved this butter yellows all mixed in!

Some of my projects I've been working on in my spare TIME!! (It is a sickness I tell you) I missed these tassles... let me just tell you... they were the icing on the cake!

I am obsessed with these tassle ball fringe naughty things....

A little somn' somn' I brewed up in avas room!

Ok all you sewers and Sewer want to beeeess..... After much prayer and thought I have decided that a sewing night will need to be in order! I know, I know, when- how-where- and especially WHY?

The first one is going to be at my house... we are making everything from pillows to the cutest stinkin' curtains that will make your scream swear words you never knew that you knew!

And.... bags... and anything else that makes our hearts pound and our checking accounts go lower and lower! So- If you feel these uncontrollable urges to make some of the cutest things around.... email me or leave a comment and i'll make sure you are included in the fun!

Oh- and yes, there will be naughty treats like always.

There are a few that want to go material shopping ... we are planning this too- so start fasting about what patterns and colors and naughty fun things you have in mind! Austin was blessed this last Sunday! He did so good and didn't cry or move a muscle. He was probably stunned by all the men surrounding him!
Look at these yummy lips... he says.... ooooohhh uuuuuuu all day long and smiles with his little tounge half way out! He always lets out a loud ahhhh and kicks like he is swimming across ocean! He get soooo excited! I just want to bite his lips off!Our happy love bug! Chubby and going bald! Mckay was so proud he made peanut butter cookies all by himself.... he wouldn't let anyone eat his peanut butter cookies until I would take a picture of him! ha ha

Sewing Addictions....

I wish I knew how to SEW!! I have serious issues with wanting to make everything I see!! I wonder if there is medication for that?? I have been making some fun curtains for Averys Room.... with layers of toile, brocade, and tassles, and beading.....
So- just when I don't have enough to sew... I found some awesome corduroy! Which is my absolute favorite fabric! So I am mixing plums, with chocolates, with mustard yellows, and putting some fun "manly" fabric with it... some brown tweeds.... I am conjuring up a tiered skirt....long with vintage flowers and pearls in the center! I always have great ideas.... but when it comes down to producing.... nah...not so much! So- with my house torn apart and needles, and pins stuck to my hair- a nice iced up coke next to my machine..... I shall give into my addictions and sew some more.

Morgan has Surgery....and Austin turns 2 MONTHS!!!

Poor Morgan Had to get surgery on Friday afternoon! She has some naughty permanent teeth that decided to grow sideways and back down! They had to pull two teeth that she was suppose to loose like 3 years ago...which weren't even loose! Then, they cut 5" along her left jaw to open up her gums and hook a chain from the lower chin to the back of her teeth... to pull up the sideways one down in her lower chin! The Dr. said they ended up doing the same surgery procedure to her as if she would have smashed her jaw and they would have to put it back together with plates and screws!! My poor sweet heart!! She has been high on loritabs- each day she gets a little more swollen! I missed getting the best picture of all... when they wheeled her out of surgery and she looked drunk with bloody gauze hanging out all over her mouth! She couldn't even open her eyes! It was the best! She originally wanted me to bring my camera... now I'm sure she is glad I didn't! Get better soon mo mo!!

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!! She has to sleep sitting straight up so the blood doesn't pool in her mouth.....yucky

AUSTIN is 10 pounds 4 ounces today!! Our Sweet Baby is 2 months old!!! He has grown 4 inches to 23 1/2 inches !!Where has the time gone? After the happy mile stone of him taking a passy.... he is so happy and smiley! What an awesome boy this guy is!! (Thank you Suzanna for letting me us this AMAZING scale) I love it!!!!

He does have big eyes....but I think the flash is startling to him :)

I am a slave to the sewing machine NO MORE!!! I finally finished Baby Austins Room!!

6 foot cream shelf to hold all his cute, yummy pictures!!

DON'T laugh!! I painted this to copy an expensive one I saw for 150.00- mine was 5$$$ painted by me!!

I built these shutters and they are on each side of the window! They were sooooo easy! Love them, Love them! The curtains are hanging right above... they are made of "burlap" to match the crib skirt and hanging from rope- Everything is very modern, and just what I wanted.... NOT CUTSIE!!

My pillow I made for fun.... almost 2 years ago while living in Oklahoma - didn't even know I was having a baby boy or Safari, Giraffe room!!

Close-up of the bumper pads and the cute rope ties!! It matched perfectly!! The crib skirt is made from "burlap" I LOVED IT!! I put that thick, chunky, ric-rac to finish it off! I think I spent more time searching out fabric and stores to find all the right materials to pull this all off!

Sweet Austins room... I wanted a SAFARI theme... but not cutsie stuff! Mckay told me this looked like an adults room :) ha ha !! I found the rug first... it is chocolate brown and green ... oh how much I LOVE THIS RUG!!! I immediately thought of those colors and went from there!

So I finally finished up his bumper pads.... they were horrible to try and figure out! Once again, would have been nice to have a pattern! I did the crushed velvet so it would look like grass... used minky and giraffe fabric for the pads... and did my ties out of rope!!

My obsession with TASSLES... I had to put one on my diaper bag!! That is my trade mark!
I found the fabric and kind of knew what I wanted.... so I just started sewing and cutting! It turned out great for not having a pattern or a clue!!

Little Aussies car seat cover! It is so hard to find cute boy stuff! I love love love GRACIE Lous fabric! I swear I am there once a week starting a new project! They have the most AMAZING fabrics!!

MARK-GET SET-GO!!

We thought there wasn't enough noise so we took out Austins Passy!! It is a Christmas MIRACLE!! WE finally found a brand that he will take! Now I think I can get off SUICIDE watch!! Man, He was sooooo out of control! Crying from midnight until 4 in the morning...then 2 inthe morning until 6:00 -- it was soooo bad!!

It is amazing how his whole personality has changed! He is so calm and fun now! He needed that extra "sucking" I guess! He is so good now- the first night we gave the passy to him he slept until 6:00- He has been the perfect sleeper EVER SINCE!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

My parents came down and brought my sisters 3 girls with them!!!

Ok- these don't look as good as they did that night in real life! Oreo Cheesecakes! They were yummy! The best part of New Years for me is ALWAYS the FOOD!! That is all I care about! We always have a huge fondue spread.... but this year we had a more finger food! The cheese fondue which is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE- was all we had!

I made a chicken Alfredo- Bacon- Ranch- Heavenly Love homemade pizza!

Aubrey and Averyspent the night playing with the fisher-price Nativity Set! Hours and Hours of fun!

Did you think I was kidding about the addiction? Here Logan is playing the DS- notice the cord...he wouldn't even put it down to let it charge!! He was out of control!!!!!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!

Logan didn't move for 6 days from the couches.... he was ADDICTED to his Legos Indiana Jones DS game....we are looking for a rehab for him. He would scream "I'm dying", "I'm dying" and start swinging and biting if we took it away....is that normal?

Our Mr. Trying to get the boys remote control cars to work! Mckay HAD to bring "Bella" his bird downstairs to celebrate the morning. He wouldn't let us open presents until Bella was down- she was his dream come true present last year from SANTA!!

Little Ava loved her Cradle and her fancy purse!

Setting up the Christmas Decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving! Austin just slept like a baby on the couch and loved the Christmas Music!!

Getting out all the Christmas CRAP to decorate!!! Ryan went and got everything and put up the tree for us- he was the only one brave enough to get on the ladder and climb up 12 feet to the top! This year I accented with avacado green "pics" and Birds! It was my favorite tree I've ever done! I don't even think I took pictures of them.....oh well, maybe next year I'll be more on top of things!

Our final card was done and printed in less than 24 hours.....maybe next year we'll get it together better!

Hum.... how did we get 5 kids?

This summmmms up our Christmas Pictures... We ran down with 5 minutes to take pics... everyone was just thrown together and threatened to SMILE -FAST- It's COLD!!! Literally 5 minutes later we were back in the car running home! Oh well, maybe next year i'll be ready to do pics and be more organized!

This was the CUTEST!! Mckay was trying to help get Austins diaper changed... I STILL don't know how he did it! He would have had to roll him over on his belly to fasten the tabs on the back? WHAT?? I was laughing so hard when i came in the room! Mckay is the biggest softy when it comes to Austin! Every day he gets home from school and immediately wants to hold him and play with him! What a helper he is!

Notice to Poop still on the sock- Mckay was freeking out- he said "Austin just kept kicking and kicking" "That poo was everywhere Mom!" He was so proud of his diapering job! When I showed him the poop on the sock he looked devistated... then he laughed! I love you Mckay!

Little love bud at 3 weeks old! Already 8 pounds and going strong!

I had Austin on a Monday- and that Saturday Avery had her first Dance Recitle !! She was shy and bit on her lip the whole time... who knew?? She danced and did so well! We loaded up 5 kids in the car... I turned back to look at the kids and said to Ryan and "WHAT HAVE WE DONE??" We've filled an entire CAR??? What is wrong with us? ha ha It was the first big snow storm and the road were HORRIBLE!!

I loved Austin sitting in my bed! He looks soooo tiny- I think he is 3 weeks old here! I know, I know, I am behind on posting so I am playing catch up!

Sweet Austin got to come along to our formal Christmas Party at Thanksgiving Point! We spent the night "gambling" and had great food! Austin slept the ENTIRE TIME!! He woke up on the way home...just as we were coming up Woodland Hills Drive! It was PERFECT!

MY SWEET AUSTIN IS TWO WEEKS OLD!!

Our SWEET BABY IS FINALLY HERE!!!

I had contractions for days.... ... they would start and stop.... everytime we got to Orem, we would have to turn around and come home!
My mom came down Sunday the 8th and we decided Brick Oven was the thing I needed! So- Monday morning we got up- (still having contractions) and decided to do some shopping and head to brick oven for lunch! My contractions were still about 5 minutes apart, but i just kept thinking about that ranch dressing! So- we sat down and they came harder and harder...but my salad was so good, and I didn't even have any pasta yet- so- they are getting closer and closer...They started getting pretty hard so I asked for my bill- called Ryan and told him to meet me over at the Hospital..... I drove the 3 blocks from Brick Oven to the Hospital..... almost crashing through the light by the high school during a contraction....
The hospital has a rule that no one under 16 can come in... so luckily I had my mom with me and she took Avery home. I went into labor and delivery and said "I just left my lunch at Brick Oven.... so I better BE IN LABOR!!!"
Austin was born 5 hours later.... I went from a 4 to a 10 in less than 20 minutes...He was my FIRST to turn and not be posterior- THANK YOU!!! So my labor was literally half a push and he was OUT!! It was a dream delivery and he is so beautiful! I just sit and suck on him all day and night! He is so tiny- over a pound smaller than all my other kids!
Lots of black hair and chubby cheeks.... and Ryans yummy lips! All the kids love him! I can't believe the difference in having this one.... Morgan was only 6 the last time I had a baby! Now she is almost 12 - the difference is night and DAY!! I feel so overwhelmingly blessed to FINALLY have our baby here!

I am so sad that my baby is growing up sooooo fast!!! He went to his two week appointment and he has gained a WHOLE POUND!! And grew over an inch! I knew he was getting pure CREAM!! He is going to be 300 pound by the time he is 3 months old! I am in the process of editing his newborn pictures, but here are some from the hospital!

WHO'S BELLY IS BIGGER??? Sorry guys, but I win!!
After spending almost all Sunday having contractions....
First they were 10 minutes, then 7 minutes, then 5 minutes....early even for me to be going into labor! Nothing could have been worse since Ryan just got on a 24 hour flight to Brasil. Suzanna was ready to be my birthing partner :) I was hysterical thinking I would be driving myself to the hospital and having a baby ALONE!! By the time he could even get back....I would have been checked out and home with a new baby! Thankfully the contractions stopped, and I am still pregnant :)
I can't believe I'll be holding a newborn in about 2 weeks!! I guess I should go and get a car seat??!!

THE BOYS AT AGEL WORLD 2009 Let me tell you how stressed I was trying to get a dress to fit- at 7 months pregnant! I didn't want to get a dress with Teddy Bears and Bows- nor did I want to waste 120$ on a maternity dress I'll never wear again. I tried on my dress that I originally bought- and it stretched- I couldn't believe it! I was so glad I didn't have to get a new one! I can't believe it zipped up! Let me tell you- by the next week.... It didn't zip up :)

I love love love love - did I mention LOVE the FALL season! I was excited to get some cute fall pictures done this past weekend. The colors are perfect, and the weather is perfect too! More pictures are posted on my photography BLOG!!!

I've had several people contact me about getting pictures done....I am getting a schedule together this week- so make sure you let me know if you would like yours done. I am trying to be done by Nov. 1st- This gives everyone enough time to get pictures back and ready for Christmas Cards! Not to mention.... I'll be preparing for a NEW BORN that next week :)

It seems summer has FLOWN by from one project to the next, and from one sports field to the next. I am so thankful for my sweet kids... it has been so much fun to watch each of them learning and excelling in different sports this fall!

Logan was his USUAL temper... didn't want his picture taken!! He is in 1st GRADE!! ALL day this year!
Morgan is in 6th GRADE!!! I am SOOO OLD!! She just had her Birthday... and can you believe in one year she is in YOUNG WOMENS...... I just got sick!
Mckay is in 4th GRADE!!! I AM SOOO OLD!!

AVERY IS IN PRESCHOOL!! As always- she stopped and posed at the door with one hip swinging out! That's my Girl!!
It is strange to have the kids gone and the house quiet!! At least a few days a week.... that is until the baby comes.. :)

My Blood (literally) sweat and tears... hours and hours and hours to make this quilt for Avery

I have been so busy with projects.. no time to blog!! Just finishing up some Relief Society Super Saturdays- and doing another on for Woodland Hills... I'm making "kits" at a discounted "churchy" price for the ladies to get - It has been a busy and fun time.

I decided to take up quilting and made little Avery this cute quilt!! I had no idea how to do it- no pattern... and when i was hand stitching the binding on... i discovered that a THIMBLE is a good thing. I kept stabbing myself over and over and over... finally Linda Hales says to me.... you know that is what a thimble is for- oops- that is what i get for not knowing what i am doing!! I thought those were to protect grandma fingers... now all the kids are putting in their orders for new quilts. All i know is that i will NEVER be cheap when it comes to amazing quilts... I look at my kids Pottery Barn quilts and think... yup never going to sew that- defiantly WORTH paying for! I don't think anyone can get paid enough to sew!! All you quilters and sewers- my hats off to you!!

We had some AWESOME neighbors and friends come over to help us lay SOD!! We ended up being 5 PALLETS short... so we ate pizza and hung out on the newly planted lawn!

Every time we came out of the elevator I was dying over these velvet chairs.. the couches.. the paintings.. everything was just GORGEOUS!! This was the LANGHAM hotel in NEW ZEALAND!! We flew to New Zealand for another 4 days after we left Sydney.
Our hotel room was amazing! chocolates on the pillows every night with bottled water- robes and slippers layed out.... everything was silk and just beautiful- 6 pillows... I was in HEAVEN!!

Ryan HAD to try KANGAROO!! SICK HUH??? He had it on our pizza- we took a ferry over to MANLY ISLAND. We had some great food at this little pizza place along the beach

I loved these sinks in the bathroom- they were FLAT and amazing- the water just rolled onto the back of the sink-

The plants were all beautiful- but I loved these trees. Their root were amazing looking - this one actually formed a "heart" up on the trunk- can you see it?
This amazing church was built in the 1700's- It was amazing inside and out! While we were there - there was a commercial being shot on the steps- pretty cool :)

Beautiful Hyde Park- In the center of down town. Our hotel room overlooked the whole park! It was amazing- looked a lot like central park in NYC --

We had a great time.... started off with Sydney, Australia
After the 24 hour plane ride we hopped off at 7 in the morning and began our fun! I was so swollen and sick from being smashed on the plane. We ate at the MOST amazing places! You know me, and my day was planned around where we were EATING!! We walked and walked and walked all over the city. Ryan had meeting some of the days so i decided to take it upon my self to figure out to the buses and do some sight seeing and shopping alone... this was an adventure- but i made it around without getting too lost. The people here wore almost all black all day everyday. I swear everyone here had a cigarette in their hands- well, not as bad as NEW ZEALAND- but pretty bad.
The ABSOLUTE high light was taking the 40 minute ferry to Waiheke Island!! OH MY GOSH!! AMAZING!! This was a small island that had about 40 wineries ... I seriously thought I was in Italy! We took a Taxi up to this Winery and ate at the restaurant called the "Mud Brick" It was seriously the most amazing place and the food was even more amazing! I had to take pictures of it! We were on top of the island looking over the ocean and looking onto the skyline of the city of Auckland. AMAZING! AMAZING!!

20 WEEKS PREGO :)
I had to post a pic for all my buds out of state! I wont give my disclaimers publicly- but all you ladies who have had babies know how with each one you get bigger and bigger.... and bigger.... I'll just leave it at that!! I had to cancel my ultra sound- ryan is in Brasil for 2 weeks so I have to WAIT ... I am dying! I'll be sure and post what I am having...my little bambino is coming!!

We have been working for months now on the YARD!! AHHHH.... I am so mad we didn't take pictures of the REAL before!! But- here it is 9 dump trucks later of ROCK.... one trampoline hole- a playground dug out- and a sports court leveled out-
one day we will get it all done? maybe :)

I am headed up this weekend to Layton!!

ok- I made the yummiest soup the other night- i even made myself sterile-
I knew I had to share it with all my friends!

Tuscano Soup Recipe

4 cans chicken stock
1 lb. spicy italian sausage
6 cubed RED potoates w/skins
2 c. chopped Kale
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. heavy Cream- ( you can use whip cream if you are in a bind)
1/2 to 1 whole onion- depending on size
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Ok- so Just add the chicken stock with the pepper, salt, onions,, and red pepper flakes- let simmer while you fry up the sausage and chop potatoes

add sausage and potatoes and let simmer for about 20 minutes- about 15 minutes into it- add the chopped and washed Kale- the last five minutes add the cream-

This is SOOOO fast and easy- and so YUMMY!!
you HAVE to have some homemade bread sticks or rolls- we had french bread that i made a yummy garlic butter and broiled it for garlic bread- yummy
It isn't too spicy- kids can eat it- mine were traumatized by the kale floating around, but you have to have it! I bribed them with ice cream sandwiches if they ate it all gone :)

We have spent countless hours at Baseball Games with Mckay! He is playing on an accelerated team- He has hit two home runs...the last one smacked the back fence of the fields...coming just a few inches from going over the field fence! Once again... yes....you know i cried!

We have started to demo and dig and design the yard. It is NEVER ending over here with projects!! I have the whole garage lined with plants and trees.....I am a little anxious to get to the planting and getting it to look nice! It looks like a nursery in my garage!

Ok - so celebrating this year made me feel really really OLD!!! We have been married 13 years!!!
Ry reminded me that in 4 years- I will have lived half of my life WITH HIM!! I am so thankful that i am able to be married to my BEST FRIEND!! He is the one that makes me who i am.... I am so thankful for him and our family we have been blessed with!

EASTER SUNDAY was great!! The kids were so excited to spend the day with their NEW BEST FRIEND!! Coco is the name they INSIST on!
We had a great Easter day- all the Blanchards came over to our house for a yummy ham dinner! I tried out a new roll recipe- since life is not worth living with out homemade rolls.... and the most AMAZING homemade cheesecake- but it is a sourcream cheesecake... holy cow... i tell you... kyle told me it was better than _ _ _ so i took that as a pretty good compliment! ha ha

The kids and I finished off the week making the best homemade strawberry jam! I made enough to last 2 years... ha ha.. not with ryan around... more like 6 months! Its been a busy and crazy week at our house!
The biggest fight i have is trying to keep the kids away from the dog so they wont STINK like a wet dog at church and school!!

HERE IS THE EASTER EGG HUNT OF THE CENTURY!!! only 6 eggs short of 1,600 eggs... yes, that is right one thousand six HUNDRED!!!
The kids are all rounded up like cattle in Abbie Higginsons Backyard! Ready to run for their lives when the whistle is blown!!! Mckay is in the back... with nothing but concentration and determination to get the most eggs...
Logan even left his soccer game early to hunt the eggs... he is out first and out for blood!
Avery was dazed and confused... wondering why all the other kids have drool coming out of their mouths!! I had to keep reminding her to "PICK UP THE EGGS!!!"
Mckay didn't waste any time with a tiny old easter basket... only a garbage sack would hold his loot!
Logan- "look at all the eggs you are running past " ha ha ha ha ha ha

Ok- so here is a little bit of my life i will share.... only because it will cheer you up!
So, we think we got a good car buying a honda accord?
no- not so much.... We just spent $2,500 fixing everything from the radiator, new head gasket, hoses, timing belts, pans...etc.... found out now that we need a new engine- all within 6 months.... so i am not a happy camper....
we trade it in... and loose 7,000$ this week - yeah! Aren't you happy now?
So- It has to only happen because ry is in brasil again right? So- the day he leaves i log onto my computer - i hear a loud static pop- and boom my computer blows up- and no i haven't backed up anything- all my pictures that people have to order- my photoshop- all our personal pictures from the last 4 years, my taxes etc... you get the idea-
So- i unhook it and take it to the computer geeks... they say "well, i can only help you out if you buy another computer from me, and then maybe i can save some of your info" hum... i am thinking i am going to kick mr. retard in the family jewels! Like i am going to just buy a computer in 12 seconds, not knowing what i want or need.... as he is telling me, you know, we may only have just a few minutes before all the data is lost... you better hurry and decide....
so- i gladly took my computer from him and said have a good day

So- i am driving around thinking how am i going to survive one minute with out a computer- the internet- ebay- facebook- and my beloved blogs? no, i can't do it- so i drove over to costco and bought the 24" monitor - yummy dell- hum... wonder what ryan will think? too bad he wont be landing in brasil for like 21 more hours.... guess i better just get it right? :)

so i get home and i am trying to download as much crap as i can to my external hard drive before everything crashes.... as i discover....... to my horror......... my taxes that i have literally spent days doing and fixing.... whiped out!
the bad thing is i already filed my federal- just not Ok and UT- so i spent the day trying to remember what numbers i swindled so my states would match to the dollar of my federal..... no... some how i was like 2,000$$ off- and i already filed- and before i did i redid them twice.... so... i have decided i am going to jail....
so- i am here with my piece of poo computer trying to extract all that i can so i don't have to hurt anyone-especially my kids who keep coming in the office- MOM- WHAT ARE YOU DOING??

i think the red beam lights that were shooting out my eyes as they came into to bug me- gave them a big enough hint!!
only happens when ryan is gone- i am cursed!

We have had a busy busy few weeks.... mostly Birthdays and getting started on the Yard!! I have been overwhelmed by watch orders and i am loving every minute of it!
I can't believe my little logan is 6- yes, that is 6!!! He is still as small as avery- and EVERYWHERE i go- everyone says...."oh look, twins, how cute they are!!"
Nice... I guess a few more chocolate shakes would do him some good!

We went to the DRAPER TEMPLE open house on Logans Birthday! We had cupcakes and presents afterwards....

Yes, Mr. Logan had to have a craft! So, we made giant crayons-you break up a bunch of crayons- put them into a cupcake pan- insert a metal ring- so that is turns into a fun cupcake shaped - multi-colored crayon- and it will have a hole in it- to make into a necklace!

The kidos were seperated into 2 teams- the red and the black- here they are decorating their team flags to fly-

we had a cannon fight- I spray painted those white foam balls - 12 red- 12 black- and they shot them into each others ships!

Then, we got red and black balloons and they had to jump- sit- anything to get the cannon balls to pop! They had a great time- competition always works! And the team with the most hits- got to hit the tresure chest pinata first!

I just have to say the frosting on this cake WAS AMAZING!! I told ryan i was taking the left overs and i was going to drink it!!

The three older kids made the cutest books to wish ryan a happy birthday- mckay glittered his all up- and glued pictures from the past few years in his... he made "coupons" for feet tickles - so cute!

So- I know how stinkin' cute they are and i keep getting stopped everywhere i go "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT WATCH??" I MADE THEM!!! Ok- I just have to brag, only because if you had made this amazing cake..... I would want you to give me the recipe! So- if you want to make the most amazing chocolate cake that is SO SO SO SO SO easy and fast- if you want to be completely sterile- screaming - swearing- coveting- drooling..... just be ware- i did warn you-

Start out with a DUNCAN HINES - HAS TO BE DUNCAN HINES ONLY- do not ruin it by using some nasty betty crocker poo-
ok anyway- duncan hines cake mix only in devils food--- take that- follow the recipe directions- but now you must add- 1/2 cup sour cream- add 1/2 cup of malted milk powder-
I searched for ever to find it - it is in the chocolate milk isle- get the good kind... don't waste your time on the cheap crap ok? - add this all in the mix- put your kitchenaid and mix for 8 minutes- to 10 minutes- your dough will become light and full of air-
i baked this on a cookie sheet- so it is just over an inch tall-
i made this for valentines day- so i used heart cookie cutters- but us one to cut out shapes- circle- etc... This cake is sooo moist and yummy- you must freeze the pieces in order to work with them... so give them a good few hour freeze

i layed them with 2 layers - so 2 heart pieces
ok- on the bottom-
ok- drizzle caramel over the botom layer- it will absorbed and sink in to the cake-
make a white chocolate ganache-
drizzle over
make a milk chocolate ganache- ( i use heavy cream and milk chocolate chips- melt together over stove - let it sit for a few minutes until it thickens- just a tiny bit though)
add to the middle layer too
add your 2nd cake piece- drizzle with caramel-
add your milk chocolate ganache to the top- let it drizzle over the sides- - yummm
then smash up some malt balls into dust- add this to the tops of the cakes- (cover the tops
sprinkle with powdered sugar- ok- if your crazy like me - add some smashed up score bar pieces to the top
now that you have become completely sterile- let me know if you screamed
now that i've been talking about it- i'm going to have to make it again
oh- and if you don't want all the steps- let me just tell you- you can eat the cake right out of the pan and you will be DYING TOO! Make it into cupcakes- and put a yummy milk chocolate ganache over the top- AHHHHHH

We went out with Jeff and Abbie- Brian and Sandy to Maglebys Oyster Bar-- So so so so so so so yummy! It was so good to get out and be with good friends. I was lucky to get to hold Sandys new baby- and eat the most amazing chocolate cake!

SLEDDING ACCIDENTS
Mckay decided to SNOWBOARD down the giant hill in Payson- he ended up falling, rolling, twisting half way down. He layed there and wouldn't let anyone help him.... I rushed down after him on my sled- and he yelled for me to get AWAY... he was swinging all his arms and legs at me so i figured nothing was broken. He layed there for about 20 minutes crying and yelling for everyone to GET AWAY....he didn't go down the hill again

Morgan recovering from the flu- couldn't make it down the hill too many times. This week while ryan was in Braisil- ALL 4 kids got the flu- and Logan got a really bad ear infection. We went through 2 bottles of the kids motrin in 5 days... nice

MORE VALENTINES DAY FUN... ALWAYS INVOLVES TREATS:)

Logan has always been my cook- the kids loved rolling these cookies in all the different sugars

These cookies are like silk...soft and almost melt in your mouth. I think it is all the different kinds of chocolate inside

More valentines treats to give away

We have been having a good time in the SNOW... the kids snowboard and sled down the hill of our front lawn...(at least we found a good use out of it) And we have joined the list of Utahans that have had their basement flood- luckily ours is leaking in the storage room... not so bad!

I decided to get busy on the house and get it decorated- I painted Averys Room... Ryan came up the stairs and said "hum... are you getting ready for a CINCO DE MAYO party in here" Little does he know i already repainted it twice in one day- the first color was a WAY brighter green ! So- looks like i am heading to lowes for the 7,000 time to get more paint!!!

So- I have been skeeming and dreaming of what cute crafty thing i can do for Valentines Day- Here it is- Hope you like it!

I have made these for my kids teachers, to take visiting teaching, give to family members etc.....

This is the Easiest Craft project- Here is what you will NEED:

clear craft bags ( the biggest ones you can find- tall enough for a water bottle )

Red crinkle craft paper

Cinnamon Red hot hearts

Cinnamon gummy Lips

Cinnamon gummy Hearts

Pkg. of Hot Tomales

4 or 5 small "fire balls"Red Long Jolly Rancher

Valentine Craft paper to cut out and place over the water bottle label

White Conversation Hearts

any other Hot Red fun item.... THEN.......................

Just cover your label on you water with the craft paper (use double sided tape)

Put the water inside the bag- add the red crinkle craft paper around water-push to the bottom

Sprinkle cinnamon Red Hot Hearts all over bottom

Put in all gummy items sprinkled around- (face the lips and messages on hearts so you can see them)

Add Red Hot tomales towards side of water

Add jolly rancher towards otherside of water

Place "FireBalls" around the front

Finish it off by tying it up at the top- add curly ribbon or what ever decor at top- FINISH it off With a cute Card that says..... HOPE YOUR VALENTINES IS RED HOT

.....HOPE YOUR DAY IS FULL OF SPICE......any cute saying will do...

I was putting conversation hearts in the ones for my visiting teaching... um... some of the sayings were a little "naughty" Take me- i want you- all night long... etc... you get the picture- so watch out for who you are giving each message to.. he he he- (they were seriously the ones from Walmart too :)))

Everytime it snows, I swear we live in a Storybook.... I love Salem and the Pond. When Ryan and I were first married we lived right here by the Pond. We'd go on picnics and wonder if we'd ever have kids running at the playground..... (oh boy, little did we know)

This place holds so many memories.....
